Jessica Herring

"The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page." - St. Augustine Jessica Herring

Background

A graduate of Georgetown University, Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political economy. Her interest in global politics and economics led her to travel across the pond to enroll in a Masters in European Business program at ESCP School of Management for Europe in London and Berlin. After she  returned to the states, Jessica’s interest in global marketing continued to grow as she took a position as Marketing Manager for Korea, which allowed her to work extensively with many Asian destinations. Currently, her role with DCI brings her focus to the Middle East as the North American Promotions Manager for Dubai.

Jessica’s Passion for Places

Jessica’s passion for places started at a very young age when she would travel to her mother’s home state of Minnesota. She spent time summers on her uncle’s farm and up in Gull Lake. Her traveling continued as she became very involved with field hockey playing for the state of New Jersey, in the Junior Olympics, in Europe, for Georgetown, and the United Airlines Field Hockey league. You could say that her passion for sports and the people she met through athletics helped to build the foundation of her passion for travel.
