Background

Before joining DCI in February 2009, Nora spent two and a half years working in Four Seasons Hotels & Resort Marketing and Communications Department promoting the luxury resorts Costa Rica and Great Exuma, Bahamas. She is also a published travel writer and former journalist.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Leadership and Consumer Economics with a minor in Spanish from the University of Delaware, is fluent in Spanish, and has lived and worked in Spain, Costa Rica and Argentina. Nora’s fluency and knowledge of Latin American culture and media trends enhances DCI’s capabilities in targeting important Hispanic markets, both in the United States and abroad.

Nora's Passion for Places

Nora recognized her desire to travel the world at a very young age. It was on her first backpacking trip through Europe that she developed an earnest case of wanderlust, which has brought her to four continents and 30 countries thus far.

After studying abroad in Spain, Nora's affinity for Hispanic culture led her to explore and become immersed in the traditions of eight Latin American countries including Cuba, Argentina and Peru. Her goal is to visit every Latin American country.

At DCI, Nora is able to parlay her passion for travel, hospitality experience and her background in journalism to pinpoint intriguing stories and unveil them for journalists and travelers looking for somewhere new and exciting to explore.
